NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Redlands encourages residents to apply for a position on the following commissions and/or boards.
 

Residents interested in applying for the non-salaried position on these commissions may click on the following link to obtain an application. CULTURAL ARTS COMMISSION

The Cultural Arts Commission promotes public interest in arts, recommends new arts programs and sources of funding for those programs, assists the City Council by recommending policies to encourage, develop and support the arts in Redlands, and advises the City Council in the administration of the City's "Art in Public Places" program.

 The Cultural Arts Commission meets bi-monthly on the second Monday of odd-numbered months at 4:00 p.m.  Residents interested in applying for the non-salaried position on this commission may request application forms from the City Manager's Office, City Hall, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 200, or by phone 798-7510, or from the City’s website at www.cityofredlands.org

 Deadline for filing applications is March 25, 2019.


UTILITIES ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Utilities Advisory Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council regarding the establishment of rates for water and sewer service provided by the city. 

The City Council invites members of the public to apply for a position on a Utilities Advisory Committee for a Water and Wastewater Rate Study. The committee will be comprised of City water or wastewater customers. Elected officials and City employees may not apply. In accordance with the City’s Municipal Code, Committee members each serve a two-year term. 

The purpose of the committee is to review and recommend water and wastewater rates to the City Council. 

The study will take approximately six months and committee members will be expected to attend four to six meetings. The committee will meet tentatively on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
